After the edition of RIPAM III in Lisbon, in 2009, it is with great pleasure and feeling of honor that the Portuguese capital is visited again with the 9th edition of RIPAM in 2022.
This time it was up to the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon to organize the event.
Considering the very special circumstances in the presence of SARS-Cov2 disease caused by the pandemic by COVID19, we opted for a mixed edition, accumulating a congress in person with live transmission for participants who are unable to meet the conditions for a physical presence.
The dates of the meeting will be from (Wednesday) 23 to (Friday) March 25, 2021 at the Lisbon School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon.
Once this event has reached its 9th edition, it is important to define the goals that govern the Mediterranean heritage. Whether by direct connection to the sea, by the effective influence of their cultures or even by climatic zoning, it is important that there is a common matrix that supports future editions and that the bases for reflection around diversity and unity of the Mediterranean region, defining its boundaries.
In this way, the main theme of this IX edition focuses on “Cultural migrations and the matrix of belonging to the Mediterranean condition”.
